YOUTH PROGRAMS
Welcome to our youth programs where we are proud to offer fitness opportunities to the entire family. At Dominion Health and Fitness we have programs for the kids throughout the year. Everything from: Child Care and Kids Nite Out to Tumbling Classes, Aqua Sports, Rock Climbing Wall , Youth Indoor Tennis Clinics and Summer Sports Camps.
SWIM LESSONS
For ages 5-15, classes are available year-round. Call for rates and times 636-2820. SUMMER CAMPS (full & half day summer programs) Kids summer sports camps by Dominion Health & Fitness are open to our members as well as to the public. At our summer camp, children ages 5 - 12 will participate in and enjoy many sports, fitness, and athletic activities. Our team of camp counselors will be teaching the rules and skills of many exciting sports: Soccer, Basketball, Swimming, tennis, Racquetball, and much more! On top of all these sports & activities, we will also be having lots of fun! CHILD CARE This service is of great convenience to many members as it allows them time to workout or partake in a class while their child is being cared for. Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 12:00noon. Saturday 9:00am - 11:00am. Closed on Sunday. (Limit 1.5 hrs / day). AQUA SPORTS This supervised pool sport activity is for kids ages 6 - 12 . It is preferred that children be able to touch the bottom of the pool, but if not, a safety float device is recommended. Tues & Thurs 5:30 - 6:30. YOUTH TENNIS CLINICS For Beginners ages 8-12 and Intermediates ages 10-14. Call for schedule and description. KIDS/PARENTS - FRIDAY NIGHT OUT (w/ swimming) Every first Friday of the month, is a night out for parents and kids. Friday evenings from 6:30 – 9:00pm, Ages: 5 - 13. Childcare available for Infants through age 4 with reservation (Limit 1.5 hrs / day). ROCK WALL CLIMBING Rock Climbing. It occupies most of one wall in the Rock Climbing room. This activity is great fun while it promotes strength and agility. |
